Your Partner in Restoring Health and Maximising Wellbeing
Brixworth Osteopathic Clinic focuses on individual needs and circumstances to provide the best possible tailored treatment plans.
The Practice
Brixworth Osteopathic Clinic offers excellent osteopathic care for patients of all ages who may be suffering from a range of issues arising from the musculo-skeletal system. As highly trained primary care practitioners we use refined diagnostic skills and experience to treat the cause not just the symptoms of the problem. We spend the time needed to understand you, the individual, to develop a tailored well rounded rehabilitation programme, giving education and exercises as part of the treatment process.
Based in the semi-rural village of Lamport, just off the A508 north of Northampton, the clinic is set within Lamport Manor Farm. Offering a quiet retreat in the relaxing surroundings of a former coach house, the clinic continues to grow both in size and reputation having helped thousands of patients find health again.
"We have seen thousands of patients over the years with over 80% of our new patients now coming to us through word of mouth referrals directly, or through our excellent links we have with local GPs and other health and fitness specialists. We are very proud of the reputation we have”
Our reputation has attracted a variety of other healthcare practitioners who have chosen Brixworth Osteopathic Clinic as their home. Our associates have included McTimmoney Chiropractic, Pilates, Exercise Therapy, Clinical Psychology, and Podiatry.

Kate Walton
Registered Osteopath
As a registered Osteopath, Kate treats patients of all ages through a holistic thought process linked to the mechanics of the human body, her patients' lifestyles and how it affects them. She particularly enjoys helping mums-to-be and baby, antenatally, mum and baby postnatal and with recovery.
She is a fully qualified Breastfeeding Coach, member of The Infant Feeding Academy and has the tools to help educate on breastfeeding, colostrum collection and storage, breastfeeding birth plan, latch, supply, sore nipples, combination feeding, bottle feeding, plus much more!
Kate is also a qualified Tongue-Tie Assessor and registered with FEDANT. She ensures mothers gain an understanding of TT and how osteopathy can help with this. She also has special interests in nutrition, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and cranial osteopathy.
Elizabeth Bowman
Registered Osteopath
Elizabeth comes from a background of medical science and physiology and is fascinated with how the body works. She discovered osteopathy when looking for help for sudden severe back pain whilst pregnant, and a Google search came up with a local osteopath. She hobbled into the appointment clutching the wall and walked out upright; and has been an advocate ever since.
Elizabeth believes that the combination of discussion, hands-on treatment, and involving the person in their own recovery is the potent mix that makes osteopathy so powerful. She is passionate about using the body’s natural healing ability to help people recover from injury, and to manage long-term conditions, for the relief of pain and return to mobility. At a time where others in the medical profession are so stretched, seeing an osteopath is a fantastic way of accessing effective professional care within days rather than months.
Patient feedback
I'm not sure I could have coped with the [pelvic] pain I experienced during and my first pregnancy when I fell pregnant again. My Osteopath has helped me so much to make the whole experience unrecognisable this time around.
